From Soil to People

Posted on October 27, 2025November 4, 2025

Outcomes of the June 2025 INTAC Sustainability Jam will open in the Ada Slaight Gallery at OCADU in Toronto at noon on November 19. During the opening there will be a discussion with the event coordinators about the role of art and design in sustainability action.

Over 4 weeks, INTAC Jams bring participants from universities around the world to collaborate in imagining approaches to harnessing art and design creativity to address global issues. Small groups select topics, share knowledge and strategize a presentation which aims to inform and motivate viewers using images, texts, graphics, audio and video. This year, printed exhibitions are being installed at OCADU, Indiana University Northwest and UAEMex in Toluca, México.
